Terms of Service
1. About ERLCHub
ERLCHub (the "Service") is a community-run directory where players of Roblox Emergency Response: Liberty County ("ERLC") can list and discover community servers. It is operated as a non-commercial fan project.
ERLCHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, Police Roleplay Community (PRC), or any other entity associated with the ERLC game. All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
2. Eligibility
To use ERLCHub you must:
- Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use Discord in your country (whichever is higher);
- Have a valid Discord account in good standing with Discord's terms;
- Not have been previously banned from ERLCHub.
3. Accounts and Authentication
ERLCHub uses Discord OAuth to sign you in. When you sign in we receive your Discord username, user ID, profile picture, and your roles in the official ERLCHub Discord server (for moderator-permission checks). We do not see your Discord email, friends, or any servers you belong to outside the ERLCHub server.
You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your account. Don't share your Discord credentials with anyone, and don't let other people post under your account.
4. Posting Servers
When you post a server, you confirm that:
- You are an owner, administrator, or authorized representative of the server you are listing;
- The information you provide (name, description, invite link, icon, tags) is accurate and not misleading;
- You have the rights to any image you upload as a server icon, or it is your own original work;
- The server complies with Roblox's Terms of Use and Community Standards, Discord's Community Guidelines, and PRC's rules for ERLC.
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant ERLCHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service for as long as your listing is active.
5. Prohibited Conduct and Content
You may not use ERLCHub to post or promote:
- Servers containing or promoting NSFW, sexually explicit, or sexualized content;
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing, or content targeting any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
- Content that sexualizes minors, encourages self-harm, glorifies real-world violence, or facilitates illegal activity;
- Servers that exist primarily to evade Roblox bans, distribute exploits, sell virtual items for real money in violation of Roblox's terms, or scam other players;
- Spam, duplicate listings of the same server, listings for servers you do not own or operate, or low-effort listings clearly intended to manipulate rankings;
- Malware, phishing links, or links to anything other than a Discord invite, Roblox game, Roblox private server, or other directly server-related destination.
You also agree not to:
- Attempt to access, scan, or exploit ERLCHub's systems, infrastructure, or other users' accounts;
- Submit other users' ERLC API keys or any credentials that do not belong to you;
- Scrape, mass-download, or otherwise harvest content from ERLCHub without prior written permission;
- Use ERLCHub in any way that violates applicable laws.
6. ERLC API Keys
Providing your ERLC API server key is optional. If you choose to provide one, you confirm that the key belongs to a server you own or are authorized to manage. We will:
- Encrypt your API key with AES-256-GCM before storing it;
- Use it only on our backend to fetch live player count data from PRC's official API;
- Never display the key, return it to your browser, or share it with third parties;
- Allow you to remove it at any time by editing or deleting your listing.
If you delete your listing, the encrypted key is deleted with it. We are not responsible for misuse of your key by third parties if your own systems are compromised — protect the key like any other credential.
7. Moderation
ERLCHub moderators (identified by a specific role in the official ERLCHub Discord server) may, at their discretion and without prior notice:
- Remove, hide, or edit any listing that they believe violates these Terms, Roblox's rules, Discord's rules, or applicable law;
- Ban any user account, which automatically removes that user's active listings and ends their active sessions;
- Restore any listing or unban any user previously actioned.
Moderation decisions are recorded in an internal audit log. We try to be fair and proportionate, but we can't promise to action every report or respond to every appeal.
If you believe a listing or moderation decision is wrong, please contact us through the official ERLCHub Discord server.
8. Intellectual Property
The ERLCHub name, logo, design, source code, and original written content are owned by the operator(s) of ERLCHub. You may not reproduce, copy, or use them outside the Service without permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
You retain rights to content you submit. The reference to "ERLC" and "Emergency Response: Liberty County" is solely for descriptive and nominative purposes; all such rights belong to their respective owners.
9. Third-Party Services
ERLCHub depends on services operated by third parties, including:
- Discord — for sign-in and identity. Your use of Discord is governed by their Terms of Service.
- Cloudflare — for hosting and infrastructure.
- Police Roleplay Community (PRC) — provider of the ERLC API used (with your permission) to surface live player counts.
- Roblox — operator of the underlying ERLC game.
Listings on ERLCHub may link to external destinations. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or conduct of any third-party site or community.
10. Disclaimers
ERLCHub is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
- Listings on ERLCHub accurately represent the servers they describe;
- Servers you join from ERLCHub are safe, well-moderated, or appropriate for you.
You join other communities at your own risk. ERLCHub does not vet or verify the moderation, rules, or membership of any listed server.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator(s) of ERLCHub will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator(s) of ERLCHub from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You can stop using ERLCHub at any time. You may delete your listings through the "My listings" page; to delete your account entirely, contact us through the ERLCHub Discord.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced in the ERLCHub Discord server. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of ERLCHub will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
